Darius Rucker Asks Fans to ‘Give Back’ on His Birthday

Darius Rucker celebrates his 43rd birthday today. But don't send him a gift! He's asking instead that friends and fans make a donation to his 'Give-Back Birthday' program, which helps support classroom needs in high-poverty schools in the singer's home state of South Carolina.

Rucker has already received one very generous donation from Elk Creek Vineyards in Owenton, Ky., where he'll perform on July 17. The venue is donating ten percent of all tickets purchased this Friday, May 15, to the 'Give-Back Birthday' program.
