Singer-songwriter Daniel Daniel is premiering a new song, "Go Easy," exclusively for readers of The Boot. Press play below to listen.

"Go Easy," Daniel tells The Boot, was written early on in the creation process of his upcoming album, The Lonesome Hollow. The artist says it came together quickly, too.

"The character in the song seems to have given up hope for redemption in a relationship and has their emotional bags packed," Daniel explains. "Yet, in a moment of vulnerability, this saddened character is asking for this lover to speak their mind once more."

Working with multi-Grammy Awards-winning engineer Mike Piersante and producer Matt Williams, not to mention a number of acclaimed musicians, Daniel has crafted an album full of simply arranged songs with warm vocals and memorable melodies. The Lonesome Hollow is due out on May 4.

"I didn’t want to rush the process of making a record," Daniel admits, "and I knew whenever I released new music, it would have to be right."

The Lonesome Hollow will be Daniel's debut full-length record. Visit DanielDanielOfficial.com for more information on the artist, his upcoming tour dates and his forthcoming record.
