Dan Tyminski and his wife, Elise, can add 'lifesaver' to their resumes. The couple recently came to the rescue of a person injured in an accident near their Franklin, Tenn. home. Dan, both a solo artist and member of Alison Krauss and Union Station, called 9-1-1 after Elise spotted a crashed four-wheeler down an embankment. Elise, who is a nurse, hurried down to the victim to help stop the bleeding on a serious head wound. Emergency workers soon arrived and had to use a pulley system to lift the four-wheeler off the victim, who is expected to recover.

Dan happened to be home after a string of tour dates in support of his new solo album, 'Wheels.' Read more about the album here.
