The city of Nashville is about to gain even more TV exposure. Cable channel A&E has announced an eight-episode reality show, 'Crazy Hearts: Nashville,' following the lives of aspiring country artists and industry insiders.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the series will "go backstage into the lives and lyrics of several up-and-coming musicians as they try to hit it big, fall in love and live to sing about it." In true TV drama fashion, the show will also include "love triangles and fiery relationships that will cause rivalry both on- and off-stage."

'Crazy Hearts: Nashville' isn't the only show that will feature Music City. The ABC drama 'Nashville,' starring Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere, will return for a second season on Sept. 25.  TNT has also announced a new docu-series, 'Nashville Confidential,' focusing on Nashville's music business power couples, which will air in the early 2014 television season.

No premiere date for 'Crazy Hearts: Nashville' has been announced.
