Craig Campbell has a lot in common with his buddy Luke Bryan. Both Georgia natives, they performed together onstage in the early days when Craig was part of Luke's touring band, and all four of their children were actually born within days of each other, and even shared some birthday parties together.

"Luke['s] and my babies, both of them were born within a week or two of each other in the same hospital," the 'Family Man' singer the 'Family Man' singer tells The Boot. "My daughter Preslee and his son Bo were born six days apart, and my daughter Kinni Rose and his son Tate were born three days apart. We were actually checking in with Kinni Rose when they were checking out. They came by our room with their new baby when my wife Mindy was getting all hooked up. Preslee and Bo, we had their first birthday parties together, too. We've been buddies for a long time, and I love hanging out with him."

Craig can probably commiserate with Luke's wife, Caroline, too, since she is the only female in a house full of men, and he is the only male in a house filled with girls. But he says although he's outnumbered, he actually likes it that way.

"Kinni Rose, she's still really little, and Preslee is finally getting to where she's becoming her own person, and it's fun to watch all that development," says Craig. "But I don't mind girls ... I don't know what I'd do with a little boy. I've got these girls, and I've kind of got it a little bit figured out. Keni is our second one, and it's not easier, but I would say it's not as stressful. You don't worry about the small stuff. If the baby's crying, she's crying, but she'll be alright. With the first baby, it was, 'Oh my god, what's going on, why is she crying? Now it's just, 'It'll pass ... either she's hungry or she's sleepy or something."

Craig is gearing up to hit the road with Willie Nelson as part of the Country Throwdown tour, which kicks off May 27, with Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser and many others on board. His new single, 'Fish,' was just released to country radio. The tongue-in-cheek tune about a girl who takes to her boyfriend's favorite pastime in a big way was penned by Craig with Arlos Smith and Ashe Underwood.
