Country Stars React to Cory Monteith’s Death

As news spread of the sudden death of 'Glee' star Cory Monteith, who was found dead in his hotel in Vancouver on Saturday (July 13), Taylor Swift took to Twitter to express her reaction to the tragedy.

The singer was rumored to be romantically linked to the actor in 2010, after the pair were spotted together on several occasions, including at a pre-Grammy party.

Swift isn't the only country artist who expressed her shock over Monteith's death.  LeAnn Rimes, Julianne Hough and Thompson Square also weighed in on the tragic turn of events.

Monteith had recently completed treatment for substance abuse. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday (July 15).
