Colter Wall is currently winding his way around North America for a series of shows that, on Friday night (Oct. 27), brought him to Atwood's Tavern, a hole-in-the-wall establishment in Cambridge, Mass. Kentucky-based band the Local Honeys opened, and Wall took the stage, at first solo and then with his band, around 11PM.

Readers can flip through the photo gallery above to see shots from Wall's stop outside of Boston. His sound infuses folk and rock into a traditional country aesthetic; among Wall's biggest influences are Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan.

“I was probably in, like, the 11th grade, I think, when I heard “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright,"" Wall recalls, "and that song kind of made me decide that I wanted to start trying to write songs and sing songs, and not just be a guitar player but be a songwriter."

Wall will be on the road until around Christmas; he'll resume touring in early 2018. A list of his upcoming tour stops is available on ColterWall.com.
