Colt Ford Announces Second Annual Celebrity Golf Classic

Colt Ford is hosting his Second Annual Colt Ford & Friends Celebrity Golf Classic on Sept. 23, 2013, and he will be joined by several of his famous friends for the all-day event.

Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley, his brother, Josh Kelley, Jamey Johnson, Laura Bell Bundy, Craig Campbell, LoCash Cowboys and John Michael Montgomery are just a few of the stars who will donate their time for the worthwhile event, which raises money to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In addition, several sports stars, including NASCAR's Kyle Petty, former Atlanta Braves player Chipper Jones and professional golfer Billy Horschel, will all help Ford in his fundraising efforts.

“My heart goes out to all the kids at St. Jude and their families,” says Ford, who is a former professional golfer. “The tournament has really grown this year, and I’m proud that so many of my friends are coming out to support the cause.”

The event will be held at the Chateau Elan Winery & Resort just outside of Atlanta, Ga. The day will include a celebrity long drive competition, silent auction and golf tournament, followed by an all-star jam in the evening. Tickets for the 21 and over event, which are $200, are available here.
