For the second cover in his "Happy Hour" video series with The Boot, Cole Bradley is taking on a song that represents his "perfect summer": Jake Owen's "Barefoot Blue Jean Night." Readers can press play above to watch.

A native of Calgary, Alberta, Bradley tells The Boot that he spent every summer at the lake when he was growing up. "I love to wake surf, hang out on the boat, have bonfires with my friends -- so when Owen released this song, I instantly fell in love with it," Bradley says, calling "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" "the perfect summer jam."

The title track of Owen's third studio album, "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" was released as a single in April of 2011. The song became Owen's fastest-rising single and was his first No. 1 hit; Eric Paslay, Dylan Altman and Terry Sawchuk co-wrote the song.

Now based in Nashville, Bradley is a previous Alberta Country Music Association Awards' Fan's Choice nominee and was a finalist in the inaugural year of Project Wild, a Canadian artist development program. He recently released his single "Happy Hour," which is available on YouTube and Spotify.

Bradley is celebrating the release of "Happy Hour" with a series of good-time covers, premiering on The Boot each Tuesday in August. Fans can check back on Aug. 21 and Aug. 28 at 5PM ET for new covers.
