The CMA Songwriter Series, which has already played in New York City, Boston, Washington, D.C. and Chicago, is heading to Texas. The series will make its debut in the Lone Star state on Wednesday, Sept. 11, in the state's capital of Austin, with four of country music's most prolific writers.

Jerrod Niemann, Randy Houser, Lee Brice, and Bob DiPiero will all play for the Texas show, and they couldn't be happier to help usher the renowned series into a new location.

“I’m in the process of writing and recording for a new album, so to have the opportunity to play an event as intimate as the CMA Songwriters Series is special,” Niemann tells CMA World. “Randy, Lee and I cut our teeth in this industry together and Bob is one of our heroes, so we’re all excited to come together for this night to celebrate the music.”

Houser echoes his sentiment. “Lee, Jerrod, and I have been writing together for a long time -- way before any of us had hits,” he adds. “So it’s really cool to be able to come together and each have a No. 1 to play and share the stories behind a lot of the songs, too.”

The Austin show will be held on Sept. 11 at 8PM at Antone's. Tickets are on sale now and are available here.
