Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Darius Rucker, Lady Antebellum and the Zac Brown Band have been added to the list of performers at the four-day CMA Music Festival, taking place in downtown Nashville June 10-13. They join previously announced performer Carrie Underwood.

Brad for one is always thrilled to perform at the festival. "You're talking about your most intense fan base and group of people being in the same place at one time once a year," Brad says. "Fan is short for fanatic, and these people are fanatics. I mean, they play their vacation around that festival. So, I love playing that festival ... these people are very serious about music. They know every word, they want to hear certain songs, they want to meet you, they want access, and they get it at this. And it's really a great thing to be a part of."

For some artists, this will be the first time they'll perform at the music festival in a number of years. Last year, Carrie met with fans and signed autographs, but did not perform, while Rascal Flatts were set to hit the stage, until a powerful thunderstorm came through pushing their performance back so far that they had to leave to make their next scheduled concert appearance! Keith Urban hasn't performed there since 2008, when he made a surprise appearance.

CMA Music Fest annually features hundreds of artists and performances and allows fans to get up close and personal to many of their favorite country stars, who donate their time to attend. The festival began as Fan Fair in 1972 and has undergone various changes, including moving from the Tennessee State Fairgrounds to downtown and a name change in 2004. The event raises funds for the Country Music Association's Keep the Music Playing program, which supports music education in Nashville.

More artist announcements will be rolled out in the coming weeks.
