Clay Walker give's Ed Sheeran's pop hit "Thinking Out Loud" the country treatment in a tender cover of the track, which is included on Walker's latest album, Long Live the Cowboyreleased Jan. 21. Readers can press play above to hear Walker add his trademark cowboy twist to the hit song.

"When your legs don't work like they used to before / And I can't sweep you off of your feet / Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love / Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks?" the country singer asks in the first verse of the song. After posing a series of questions, the track follows with a pledge of devotion in the chorus:

"Darlin' I will be loving you til we seventy / And baby my heart can still fall as hard at twenty-three / I'm thinkin' 'bout how / People fall in love in mysterious ways / Maybe just the touch of a hand," Walker croons.

Written by Sheeran and Amy Wadge, the sweet love song first soared to popularity in 2014, topping the charts for Sheeran. Its music video, which features dancer Brittany Cherry, quickly became one of the most-watched clips in YouTube history, with more than 2.6 billion views.

Long Live the Cowboy includes the single "Working on Me," the first taste of new music fans got from Walker in more than two years, which he shared in April of 2018. Walker dropped "She Gets What She Wants," also off the new album, on Dec. 21. The album is Walker's first full length project in nine years.
