Chuck Wicks ‘Very Much In Love’ With Julianne Hough

Chuck Wicks has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. In addition to two hit singles from his debut album, 'Starting Now,' he also has a new love, fellow country songbird Julianne Hough. The pair met while touring with Brad Paisley over the summer, and while it's smooth sailing now, Wicks admits it didn't start off very promising.

"My famous pick-up line was, 'The catering is great,' and then I walked away I was so nervous," Wicks admits to PEOPLE magazine.

Clearly Wicks eventually redeemed himself, because he now reveals that the two are "very much in love." And, in spite of their fame, he maintains they are "a laid back, normal couple" who prefer a simple dinner-and-a-movie date over a wild night out.

Wicks and Hough are now learning to balance the demands of families at the holidays. This year, they will spend Thanksgiving in Las Vegas with Hough's family, followed by Christmas in Nashville with Wicks' family.
