Taylor SwiftMore than 60 celebrity-autographed guitars were stolen on Christmas Eve from a storage unit in Garland, Texas. Among them were guitars signed by Taylor Swift, Trace Adkins, Willie Nelson and Brad Paisley.

Brian Hughes, a former tournament fisherman and a regular on 'Southwest Outdoors Report' on Fox Sports Southwest, had been collecting the autographed guitars for five years. The instruments were to be auctioned to benefit Friends of Purtis Creek State Park, which funds an annual free kids fishing day at the 349-acre lake at the park near Eustace. The program provides rods, reels and fishing tackle for kids, along with prizes and hot dog lunches.

The free kids fishing day at the lake draws from 300 up to 350 youngsters each June.

"The guitars are one of the main sources of income for The Friends of the park," Bob tells the Dallas Morning News. "There's a lot of equipment that we have here that was funded by The Friends."

The guitars were stolen from Uncle Bob's Self Storage in Garland, and the only guitar Bob has left is one signed by Rascal Flatts ... which he happened to have at home when the storage unit was burglarized.

"Robert Earl Keen is at the House of Blues tonight, and he's agreed to sign a guitar," Bob said last Tuesday. "He'll be our first 'recovery' signing. We're talking about maybe trying to scrape up a little reward money if somebody returns any of the guitars."

Anyone with information about the burglary, or who may know the whereabouts of the stolen guitars, is being asked to contact the Garland police at 972-205-4845.
