Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band to Perform at Veterans Day Concert for Valor

Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band are among a list of heavy-hitting artists slated to perform on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., for a free Veterans Day concert on Nov. 11.

Other announced performers at the Concert for Valor include Bruce Springsteen, Eminem, Rihanna, Dave Grohl and Metallica. The free event is expected to draw a crowd of over a quarter of a million people, with special reserved seating set aside for veterans and their families.

The concert is hosted by Starbucks and HBO, which will also air video of the event via a live telecast. In addition to the list of performers, organizers have announced appearances by Jamie Foxx, John Oliver, Meryl Streep, Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, who is ­co-producing the event.
