Fresh from her honeymoon, Carrie Underwood performed live on the 'Today' show in New York's Rockefeller Plaza on Friday, July 29. The newlywed singer opened her concert with 'Cowboy Casanova,' the first of many mega-hits from her current album, 'Play On.'

After the performance, which was accompanied by deafening cheers from the jam-packed audience, 'Today' host Matt Lauer asked Carrie how married life has been going so far. "It's a lot like dating life actually," Carrie told him. "It's good. We both are very busy people and understand each other's lives ... so we're OK with that."

Lauer also brought up recent 'American Idol' changes -- namely, the gossip about Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi leaving the show. She may be a former 'Idol' star, but Carrie is just as out of the loop as everyone else. "Everybody's like, do you know anything?" the singer said. "I know what you know!"

Carrie, who will be embarking on the next leg of her Play On tour in September, finished off her set with the hits 'Undo It' and 'Before He Cheats.' Watch the videos of her 'Today' performance below.
