Last week, Carrie Underwood made a memorable trip to Boston, where she visited patients and their families at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. On Tuesday (July 31), the songstress became the latest artist to participate in the Country Music Healing Tour, enacted by local radio station WKLB, Country 102.5.

While at the hospital, the "Blown Away" singer spent time in the surgical unit and in the pediatric bone marrow transplant unit, where she met 11-year-old Sean Cudmore (pictured above). Carrie brought each patient an autographed CD and even performed an a capella version of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" for a hopeful 2-year-old patient.

Carrie was so taken with one patient that she was compelled to tweet a video of the young girl, who is an aspiring songwriter. (Watch below.) "Met a brave young lady and fellow songwriter today named Chloi. Such a positive spirit! So sweet!" Carrie wrote.

"We'd like to express our sincere gratitude to Carrie Underwood and to Country 102.5," says the Floating Hospital for Children's Chief Administrative Officer and Pediatrician-in-Chief Dr. John Schreiber. "The Healing Tour brings inexpressible joy and comfort to our pediatric patients and their families as they cope with very difficult circumstances. Thanks to Ms. Underwood, they now have a memory that they will cherish forever."
