Carrie Underwood Wins Best Country Solo Performance at the 2015 Grammy Awards
Carrie Underwood's 'Something in the Water' claimed the 2015 Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance, giving the singer her second win in the category in the past three years.
Underwood couldn't attend the ceremony since she late into her pregnancy, so she watched from home as her name was called. But, the songstress did tweet out her appreciation for the award, saying that she felt "so honored and blessed."
The inspirational 'Something in the Water' was a huge hit that pulled the rare double feat of topping both the country and Christian charts. 'Something in the Water' beat out a group of insightful, thought-provoking songs: Hunter Hayes' 'Invisible,' Eric Church's 'Give Me Back My Hometown,' Miranda Lambert's 'Automatic' and Keith Urban's 'Cop Car.'
Underwood took home Best Country Solo Performance in 2013 for 'Blown Away,' making her the first two-time winner in this category.
