Carrie Underwood will hit the road next month on her very first headlining tour. The country star's 'Carnival Ride Tour' is set to kick off February 18, with the first of 30-plus stops in Wilkes-Barre, Penn.

"I'm so excited to be hitting the road and doing the full show of my music that I have always dreamt of doing," Underwood said Monday. "I have been so fortunate to learn from so many other great artists while touring with them, and they have inspired me in so many ways. They have helped me to get to this stage of my first real headline shows, and now I finally feel ready. I can't wait to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada, and see all my fans."

Underwood's opening act will be fellow Grammy nominee, Josh Turner. Tickets for their first round of dates go on sale this Saturday. Underwood is doing double touring duty, as she's also set to co-headline several shows with new dad-to-be Keith Urban, starting Jan. 31.
