Buzz Cason recently released his 12th studio album, 'Troubadour Heart.'

Over the last six decades, Cason has become a Nashville institution with his work in country music, Americana, rockabilly and rock 'n' roll. He is a member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame, as well as a nominee for the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. Cason has spent time on all sides of the industry as a writer, vocalist and producer. In 1970, he founded Creative Workshop, a two-studio recording site that has hosted Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard, the Judds, the Doobie Brothers and Emmylou Harris.

'Troubadour Heart,' released by Plowboy Records, is Cason's fifth Americana/roots album, featuring collaborations with '60s soul writer Dan Penn; Anthony Crawford, who has worked with Kenny Rogers, Neil Young and Dwight Yoakam; and saxophonist Bobby Keys.

You can see more information about Cason and 'Troubadour Heart' in a short documentary video. The album is available on iTunes and Amazon.
