More than five years after releasing his self-titled debut album, Bucky Covington is back with a new set of tunes. The singer's sophomore album, Good Guys will be released Sept. 11. The record was produced by Mark Miller (of Sawyer Brown fame) and Dale Oliver, with the exception of one track, the "Drinking Side of Country" duet with Shooter Jennings, which Bucky co-wrote and co-produced. (See the "Drinking" video, followed by a full track listing with songwriter credits below.)

"Getting to produce your own music rocks, but being able to say you produced Shooter Jennings just takes it to a whole other level," Bucky says. "I'm very proud of this song and can't wait to share it with my fans."

The first single from the project, "I Wanna Be That Feeling," made the cut after Bucky played it live to test it out. However, the singer-songwriter wasn't pleased with the tune's arrangement and pulled it from the set-list, which prompted one fan to voice disappointment.

"I had a fan come up who was almost mad at me: 'What happened to that 'Feeling' song?'" Bucky tells USA Today. "I put it back into the set with a new guitar player, and it seems like folks are just loving it."

The CD's title, Good Guys, will take on multiple meanings on release week, when a portion of the first-week sales will be donated to the International Association of Fire Fighters Charitable Foundation. Additionally, a special IAFF version of the album, featuring the bonus tracks "Evil Knievel" and "Ole Kentuck," can be pre-ordered for a limited time here.
