The title track of Brad Paisley's upcoming 'American Saturday Night' evokes vivid images of what goes on all across the country on any given weekend, and that's just what the singer-guitarist had in mind.

"'American Saturday Night' is a song about what happens on a weekend in our country, under the guise of the melting pot and how really nothing is original here," Brad tells Billboard.

The eclectic nature of his own body of work -- a blend of modern country music with nods to its most traditional elements -- seems to fall right in line with the message of 'American Saturday Night.' Says Brad, "We are all of some heritage, other than those who are Native American, and it seems like it's all sort of washed up here on these shores as a best-of collection of what the world has to offer."

The reigning ACM and CMA Male Vocalist launches his American Saturday Night Tour on June 5, with openers Dierks Bentley and Jimmy Wayne. 'American Saturday Night' hits retail and online outlets on June 30, just in time to celebrate the nation's July 4 birthday -- which falls on a Saturday this year.
