Brad PaisleyWhile Brad Paisley is nearing the top of the country charts with his single 'American Saturday Night,' his thoughts turn toward another of his hits, 'Then,' just in time for the most romantic day of the year, Valentine's Day.

Brad says his fans have let him know how much the song means to them, and how much they love the romantic sentiment of it. As one of the song's writers, Brad teasingly takes all of the credit for it, saying, "I don't remember what [the other songwriters'] contribution was, but ... they agreed when I came up with the lines."

Actually, Brad has been able to fully realize just how romantic the song is by watching his fans react to it in concert. "I say something almost every night at the end of the song, which is, 'I hope you're in love tonight, and if you're not, I hope you fall in love tonight.' Because it's really one of those things that you see so many people experiencing ... and it's the hope of everyone who is in a relationship that it gets better with time and not worse."

Brad gets another chance to see how the song is affecting concertgoers (and to gauge just how well Valentine's Day went for them!) when his American Saturday Night tour stops in Fresno, Calif. on Feb. 18.
