Brad Paisley Surprised with Early Christmas Gift

Brad Paisley got an unexpected surprise while performing on the Grand Ole Opry stage Saturday night.

Paisley's performance, which was part of a tribute show for Little Jimmy Dickens' 60th anniversary as an Opry member, was business as usual until a guitar solo during the hit, "Waitin' on a Woman." At that point, a female fan pulled herself up onto the stage and proceeded to give Paisley a hug as Brad continued to play.

When the fan attempted to offer Brad a small gift, rather than stopping the show to accept the token, Brad turned around and had her place the item in his back pocket. She stuck around on stage for the rest of the song, and after it was over, Brad felt the need to describe the unusual incident to radio listeners.

"That's a first for me right there," Brad explained. "Let's talk to the folks listening on the radio right now about what you're missing. If that guitar solo sounded funny at the end it's because I was being attacked by a beautiful young woman who jumped up on the stage and accosted me - and stuck a Christmas ornament in my pocket that says, 'I love you Brad. Thanks for making my 18th birthday special, Love, Kim.' I can't say her last name because she's going to be prosecuted for this, probably. Well, welcome to Tennessee, and enjoy our penal facilities while you're here!"

Brad's highly anticipated album, 'Play,' arrives in stores tomorrow.
