Brad Paisley Played Cupid for Chuck Wicks & Julianne Hough?

Brad Paisley is revealing the true story behind the love connection between Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough. While the couple says they met at the catering table on the Paisley Party Tour, Brad is taking his share of the credit for facilitating their romance.

"I kind of arranged that, really," he tells Michigan radio station B93. "I'm giving him away right now."

Chuck, who was the first one invited to join Brad out on the road, had his eye on the blond bombshell ever since he saw her on 'Dancing With the Stars.' As soon as he heard she might join the Paisley tour, Chuck apparently wasted no time in discussing the possibility with Brad. "Chuck goes, 'Hey man, is Julianne Hough coming on the tour?' And I was like, 'Yeah, I think so'," Brad recalls. "I messed with him a little bit. I said, 'Well why?' [He said] 'Oh I just think she'd be great out there.' I don't think he'd even heard her music. It was hilarious!"

Brad may have happily played Cupid, but he says if his former tourmates get married, it will be without him there to witness the vows. "I hate going to weddings," he admitted. "I might go to a reception. I don't like going to weddings."

However, Brad did have one suggestion on a wedding song: "They can sing 'Then.' That's fine. Let them do that at the wedding, and that way I'm there in spirit."

Slow down, Brad! Chuck and Julianne aren't even engaged ... yet. But both have hinted that wedding bells are in their future, so maybe Brad knows something we don't know?!

Brad is currently on the road with the married Dierks Bentley and the very single Jimmy Wayne. There's no word yet if Jimmy has lobbied for any country cuties to join the boys on tour.
