In 1999, a 13-year-old girl suffering a life-threatening illness told Kids Wish Network that her only wish was to meet a then-rising country star. The young girl's name was Brandy and that rising country star was Brad Paisley, who had just released his debut album, 'Who Needs Pictures.' When Brad was told about Brandy's wish, he happily granted it. It didn't end there. So moved was Brad to raise awareness for children in crisis and the unique programs designed by the charity to help them, that he recorded a promotional video for Kids Wish Network immediately after granting Brandy's wish. He has continued to support the charity ever since.

This year, the superstar jumped at the chance to serve as national spokesperson for the charity's 2010 Corvette Dream Giveaway by giving away two custom Corvettes.

"What could be better than helping lots of dreams come true for these deserving children, through a chance for Corvette enthusiasts to win their dream," says Brad.

Proceeds will benefit the Kids Wish Network's Hero program, whose mission it is to bring smiles to the faces of children in hospitals, abuse shelters, homeless shelters and other pediatric care facilities across the country.

"We are thrilled to have Brad working so closely with us on the Corvette Dream Giveaway," says Shelley Breiner of Kids Wish Network. "It is wonderful to see the smiles and pleasure he brings to kids."

This is the third year in a row that Kids Wish Network will be awarding two custom Corvettes to one randomly-selected winner. One of the cars is a classically restored 1967 427 Corvette Roadster. The other car is a brand new, one-of-a-kind 2010 Brad Paisley Hero Edition Corvette ZR1, authenticated with the superstar's autograph and accented by tiny, hand-painted red music notes on the car's hood.

Tickets to enter the Corvette Dream Giveaway are just $10 and can be purchased by visiting Kids Wish Network. The lucky winner will be announced January 15, 2011.
