Brad Paisley is still riding high on the charts with his latest album, the ACM-nominated 'Play,' (for 'Start a Band' with Keith Urban) but he's already got his sights set on Saturday night. Paisley revealed to USA Today that he's recorded seven of the tracks for his upcoming album titled 'American Saturday Night.'

The new disc is due for release on June 30. Paisley says the first single from the album, 'Then,' is "a heartfelt love song -- the kind I haven't done, really."

He adds that with the track, co-written with Chris DuBois and Ashley Gorley, "We had a target, and the target was our significant others." Paisley's significant other is actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley. The couple have a son, two-year-old Huck, and are expecting their second child in April.

Paisley says he's taking a more direct approach with 'American Saturday Night.'

"I'm not so worried about making the songwriters in town sit and take notice," he says, "as I am wanting people to feel like I really meant what I said on this record."

'American Saturday Night' is Brad Paisley's eighth album. It's also the title of his upcoming tour, kicking off June 5. Dierks Bentley and Jimmy Wayne are joining Paisley on the 41-city journey through the U.S. and Canada.
