While most of country music's big names were at the 2016 ACM Awards in Las Vegas, Nev., on Sunday night (April 3), Brad Paisley was in Los Angeles, Calif., for the evening's other awards show: the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards. During the ceremony, the country star teamed up with Demi Lovato for a performance.

The duo performed Lovato's song "Stone Cold," an emotional ballad that had the crowd at LA's Forum holding lights in the air throughout the performance. The two stars, along with a piano player, all clad in black, performed on a circular stage in the center of the audience. Paisley didn't sing at all -- that was Lovato's job, and she killed it -- but he did add simple, poignant guitar licks throughout. Press play above to watch the performance.

Paisley was country music's lone representative onstage during the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards broadcast. He was nominated for Country Artist of the Year, with the honor going to Luke Bryan.

Paisley is off the road for the month of April, but he does have numerous dates on his concert calendar beginning in May, including a stop at Country Jam in Colorado in June. The artist recently wrapped up his Crushin' It World Tour.
