Brad Paisley is not only heading to stores with his brand new album, 'This Is Country Music,' at the end of the month, but he is also racing toward theaters nationwide. The country superstar will be heard in the forthcoming Pixar animated film, 'Cars 2.'

Brad contributes two songs to the new soundtrack, including a duet with British pop star Robbie Williams. 'Collision of Worlds' is described as "a cool rock 'n' roll song," a departure from what Brad is used to, but seems to capture the essence of the movie and is played over the end of the credits. "The song is a rock vocal event with one of the most talented people I've ever met, Robbie Williams," notes Brad. "It was ['Cars' director and Pixar executive John Lasseter's] idea to bring these two worlds together –- combining the English and American takes on music. We're both out of our comfort zone, seeing what happens when you're forced into going new places, which is really what 'Cars 2' is about. It's totally parallel to the story."

"Brad turned up with his guitar and a basic understanding of what he wanted the song to sound like," adds Robbie Williams. "He played me a few chords and we noodled and twiddled our way into forming this song. It's back and forth colloquialisms between two different countries speaking the same language and not understanding each other -- until now."

This new installment of the 'Cars' series has star race car Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) and tow truck Mater (voice of Larry the Cable Guy) taking their friendship overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world's fastest car. The film is filled with twists, turns and espionage as Mater finds himself between a rock and a hard place: assisting his friend Lightning as part of a top-secret mission, which leads him on a chase through the streets of Japan and Europe.

Brad also wrote and recorded a second song, titled 'Nobody's Fool,' for the soundtrack. "It's inspired by the most heartbreaking scene in the movie," he explains. "Mater realizes that everybody thinks he's playing the fool and he becomes sort of enlightened and realizes that he's not playing the fool -- he is one, but Mater realizes he is who he is and that was inspiring to me."

The father of two was also featured on the first 'Cars' soundtrack with two original songs, 'Find Yourself' and 'Behind the Clouds.'

Ever since his cool experience with Pixar a few years ago, Brad has become nearly obsessed with animation and how it is created. He and 'Cars' director John Lasseter became good friends, so much so that their families now vacation together. "There's only a handful of people like [Lasseter]," Brad told the St. Petersburg Times in 2007. "He's up there with George Lucas, Walt Disney. He's a big kid. Classic toys just fill his office. We've become really close." Brad even showcases some of his own animation night after night on tour.

The 'Cars 2' soundtrack, which also features songs by Weezer and Japanese girl band Perfume, is due in stores June 14, with the film following in theaters nationwide June 24.

In other Brad news, the reigning ACM Male Vocalist of the Year will make the media rounds later this month in support of the release of his new album, 'This is Country Music,' May 23. He will perform on ABC's 'Good Morning America' as part of their Summer Concert Series on May 24, followed by appearances on CBS' 'The Late Show With David Letterman' and FOX News' 'Hannity' that evening. He is also set to join the ladies of ABC's 'The View' on May 25.

Brad, who is sitting at No. 3 on the country charts with his current single 'Old Alabama,' will hit the road on his H20 II: Wetter & Wilder World tour at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pa., May 28. Check here for a complete list of Brad's tour dates.
