Blake Shelton is counting down the days until he kicks off his Ten Times Crazier summer tour, and he admits he is eager to hit the road.

"I'm going out on my first-ever headlining amphitheater tour, and I'm never going to forget it," he tells MTV News. "It's everything I ever worked for, from the first time I tried to play a chord on the guitar, this was the dream I had, this was the image that was in my mind, of stepping out on one of those big summertime amphitheater stages, and looking out and seeing a bunch of people ready to have a good time."

The Oklahoma native says his summer trek is already making him feel nostalgic. "Looking back, some of my favorite memories of growing up were summertime memories; Fourth of July, my birthday is June 18, and those were some of my most favorite times, and I want to do that again," he notes. "I want to look back on this summer and think of it like those times, and it's already set up to be that."

Shelton will first finish his role as a coach on the fourth season of the NBC TV show 'The Voice,' which will wrap up on June 18. The Ten Times Crazier tour, which includes Brantley Gilbert and Jana Kramer as his opening acts, kicks off on July 19 in Virgina Beach, Va. See all of his upcoming shows here.
