Blake Shelton is showing his mean side with the release of his new single, 'Neon Light.'

The revenge anthem doesn't hit nearly as hard as many country breakup songs, but the lyrics are still there, as Shelton tries to forget about an ex with a few drinks and a potential rebound.

“I take a shot of I don’t care what you’re doing now / Chase that one with a cold screw you / When that’s done, I just might wash it down with a big pitcher of someone new / That blonde, blonde, blonde at the bar, bar, bar / See if she wants to try an unbreak my heart, heart, heart,” Shelton sings.

'Neon Light' comes off of Shelton's upcoming 11th studio album, 'Bringing Back the Sunshine,' which is set for release Sept. 30. The irony of having a revenge song on an album with such a happy title isn't lost.
