Thirteen might just be Blake Shelton's lucky number. The singer-songwriter just scored his 13th consecutive No. 1 single with 'Neon Light,' making him the artist with the most consecutive No. 1 songs on the Billboard and Mediabase country charts since the beginning of monitored airplay.

"It's always exciting to have a No. 1 record, and I'm especially proud of this one, because this song blends the current sound on country radio with the traditional feel that I grew up with," Shelton says. "It has elements of a song that one of my heroes, Earl Thomas Conley, might have recorded."

'Neon Light' is the debut single from his latest disc, 'Bringing Back the Sunshine,' which was also his third-straight No. 1 album.

“The whole album is searching for parts of me that I think have ... not gotten lost along the way, but stuff that I haven’t addressed in my music as much as I used to, whether it’s drinking songs, heartbreak songs or songs about how people treat you," Shelton explains. "Things like that."

'Neon Light' is Shelton's 18th career song to hit the top of the charts. The reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year just released his latest single, 'Lonely Tonight,' which features Ashley Monroe.
