With their May 14 wedding date quickly approaching, Blake Shelton attributes the success of their relationship to Miranda Lambert. The biggest obstacle the couple face is their differing tour schedules, which keeps them not only away from home, but apart.

"If she has time off and I'm not home, she'll come out and find me on the road and just stay with me out there ... that probably saves our relationship as much as anything," he admits (quote via Lancaster, Pa. radio station WIOV).

Blake can also credit his future wife with taking care of all the wedding plans, which suits him just fine. "Here's the thing -- I am thrilled to be married to Miranda Lambert, but I don't give a crap about weddings," he reveals to The Boot. "It's a big deal to her, and I'm excited for her, but I don't have a lot of input because I don't have a lot of ideas about it."

That being said, Blake's not a big wedding buff in general. "Every wedding I've ever gone to, I've either fallen asleep or been so miserable that I had my iPod in and nobody knew it, or I was playing Angry Birds on my phone," he admits. "Even if it's your wedding, if you're a guy, it's boring. So, I'm excited about the actual ceremony to happen, because after that, the reception is going to be a party, and that's what I'm looking forward to."

Less than two weeks after the ceremony, Blake will return to his home state of Oklahoma, where he will perform two shows with his ACM Awards co-host, Reba McEntire, aiding tornado victims.

Both Blake and Miranda will also appear at CMA Music Fest, held June 9 to 12 in Nashville.
