Blake Shelton to Play Free Show
Blake Shelton is full of surprises these days. His fans just learned that their favorite singer -- who is full of 'BS' but apparently isn't a 'white liar' -- is going to marry his girlfriend of five years, fellow singer/songwriter Miranda Lambert. And now, In addition to the engagement announcement, Blake has surprised fans with a unique opportunity on Wed., May 26, when he plays a free show in Evansville, Ind.
The Oklahoma native has obviously had a good year with his first Academy of Country Music Award, his highest charting album debut, a No. 1 single with 'Hillbilly Bone' (which marks his sixth No. 1), and now this live concert -- which will be filmed for a release later this year. Tickets will be available through 99.5 WKDQ in Evansville, Ind., and the country station 92.5 WBKR in Owensboro, Ky.
"I have been incredibly blessed this past year and cannot thank my fans enough for all their support," says Blake. "This free concert is one small way I can give back to all of my fans that have given me so much over the last ten years. If you decide to come out to Evansville, Ind., be ready to have a good time -- I want this to be a night none of us will ever forget!"
