Blake Shelton may have put his bachelor ways behind him, now that he's the doting husband to Miranda Lambert, but he hasn't completely tamed his behavior. The Oklahoma native, who released his latest CD, 'Red River Blue,' last week, says his newest project proves there's a bit of a bad boy left in him.

"Yeah, I'm still drunk all the time," he jokes with CMT. "I'm still singing about it and having fun with life. But I'm having fun in the right way with somebody that I love. And I think when you listen to the record you'll just get that sense from me."

The 35-year-old is enjoying his first reign at the top of the all-genre album charts with his new CD, which debuted at No. 1 on both Billboard Country Albums and the Billboard 200. The second single from the album, 'God Gave Me You,' is already in the Top 40 and climbing. The tune, the reigning CMA Male Vocalist explains, found him at quite an opportune time.

"'God Gave Me You' is an important song for me for this record," Blake tells The Boot. "I had flown into Dallas, Texas and got into my truck and was driving back to Oklahoma ... It's no secret, Miranda and I have had our ups and downs over the years and this was definitely at a low point at our relationship. But I heard that song come on the radio -- for whatever reason I was flipping through stations and landed on a contemporary Christian station, and that song came on and I almost had to pull the truck over. It was one of those moments for me where I felt like I was hearing that song at that moment for a reason."

Blake is currently crossing the country with Brad Paisley on his H20 II: Wetter & Wilder tour, which takes them to Pennsylvania and New York this weekend. Keep track of his concert schedule here.
