Billy Ray Cyrus and his daughter, Miley Cyrus, joined "glam metal" band Steel Panther at the West Hollywood House of Blues' farewell show on Monday night (Aug. 3) for a cover of the Def Leppard classic, "Pour Some Sugar on Me."

Billy Ray Cyrus had a tempestuous relationship with his daughter not too long ago, which he blames only on himself and the fact that he encouraged her to star in the hit Disney TV show Hannah Montana. But now, he says, everything is much better, and they get along well.

“It destroyed my family,” Cyrus says of Hannah Montana. “I’ll tell you right now — the damn show destroyed my family … I’d take it back in a second. For my family to be here and just be everybody okay, safe and sound and happy and normal, would have been fantastic. Heck, yeah.”

There is no word if Miley Cyrus will appear in her famous father's upcoming TV show, Still the KingThe scripted comedy will star Billy Ray Cyrus as Vernon Brown, also known as "Burnin’ Vernon," a “scandal-ridden, washed-up one-hit wonder” who is banished from country music and becomes an Elvis impersonator, before he has an accident as a result of his drunk driving and is required to perform community service in Nashville.

Still the King will debut early next year.
