Billy Currington Scores Ninth No. 1 Hit With ‘We Are Tonight’
Billy Currington has earned his ninth career No. 1 with 'We Are Tonight.' The single hit the top spot on the Billboard Country and Mediabase radio charts.
“Thank you country radio! Nine number ones is incredible and humbling,” Currington says. “The first time I heard 'We Are Tonight' I was blown away and could imagine the power of the song live. Every night on the road, I love watching the fans’ energy when they sing back the chorus.”
The single, written by Mark Beeson, Sam Hunt and Josh Osborne, is the title track and second consecutive No. 1 off of Currington's current studio album, following the success of 'Hey Girl.' The track was produced by Dann Huff.
Currington recently wrapped up dates for his We Are Tonight Tour with Brett Eldredge and Chase Rice. He is set to join Lady Antebellum on select dates of their Take Me Downtown Tour.
