Colt Ford is a singer, songwriter and now a super hero as well, at least in the pages of a new comic book.

A 64-page, full color comic book, 'Average Joes,' will be released on July 1, featuring Colt Ford and friends as superheroes who selflessly save the world and fight crime.

Volume 1 features Ford as well as several of his Average Joes Entertainment labelmates, including the LACS, Lenny Cooper and Sarah Ross, who each have a unique super power that can be used at any time.

The comic book series is thanks to Average Joes CEO and President, Shannon Houchins.

“The concept for the comic book was developed as a marketing tool to provide artist content for all of our demographics,” he explains. “Our artists’ fan bases range from very young children to adults.”

12-Gauge Comics, who  previously released a comic book on Trace Adkins, published and illustrated the book.

'The Average Joes' will be sold online, at live concerts, and at select retail outlets. An exclusive deluxe package will be available at Walmart on July 1 and include both the book and Ford's new album, 'Thanks for Listening.'
