The trailer for American Saturday Night: Live From the Grand Ole Opry will get you pumped up to see the full-length film, which features Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker, the Band Perry and Brett Eldredge.

“It’s like a mega behind-the-scenes version of the Opry,” the Band Perry’s Reid Perry tells the Tennessean. His sister, Kimberly Perry, adds, “I’m excited for the movie to come out because, to me, one of the coolest things we’ve got to be a part of as the Band Perry is being backstage at the Opry”

The two-minute trailer offers a lot of insight into what happens when country stars take the iconic stage: It shows clips of Paisley, Shelton, Rucker, TBP and Eldredge onstage, in addition to backstage footage and shots of the venue.

"I’m so proud to be a part of it ...," Rucker says. "I go there when I don’t play, just to talk to people and hang out. I’ve seen Vince [Gill] there, not playing, just hanging out, Marty Stuart, Little Jimmy [Dickens], Jim Ed Brown, God rest his soul. I love being a member.”

Reveals Paisley, "The main goal of my career was to be an Opry member. Once you get that, it becomes so much more than that. It becomes family and friendships and part of your life, really. These people out here, from [Opry general manager] Pete [Fisher] to artists like Bill Anderson and Jeannie Seely and the people I associate with these backstage experiences, there’s so many great memories now.”

American Saturday Night: Live From the Grand Ole Opry is scheduled for a limited special engagement at select theaters in the U.S. beginning on Dec. 4. More information, including advance tickets, theaters and show times, is available at OpryMovie.com.
