Some of country music's most established superstars will compete against a freshman act for Album of the Year at the 2013 American Country Awards.

Jason Aldean is in the running with his most recent offering, 'Night Train,' which has seen him break through to superstardom. Blake Shelton's 'Based on a True Story . . .' has also elevated him to new heights, while Tim McGraw's 'Two Lanes of Freedom' has rejuvenated the superstar, both musically and professionally.

The Band Perry's sophomore album, 'Pioneer,' has earned them a nomination as well, while Florida Georgia Line -- who were almost unknown a year ago -- have reached dizzying heights this year with their full-length debut, 'Here's to the Good Times.'
