It's safe to say that Abby Anderson enjoyed her first Stagecoach Festival experience. The rising country star played Day 3 (April 28) of the annual event in Indio, Calif., in heat that even this Texas girl wasn't quite expecting!

While at Stagecoach, Anderson was snapping behind-the-scenes photos for a day-in-the-life diary for The Boot. From soundcheck to set time, backstage to meeting fans, the singer chronicled her time at the big event -- even including a hang with Jimmie Allen.

Anderson recently released a new single, "Good Lord," a song she says was inspired by her boyfriend (who shall remain nameless for the time being). She co-wrote the track with Josh Kerr and Jordan Minton, during a songwriting session on her tour bus while she was in Washington, DC, in late 2018.

Anderson dropped her debut EP, I'm Good, in 2018. "Good Lord" is the first taste of forthcoming new music from the singer-songwriter, who will be opening for pop-rock artist Rob Thomas on his 2019 Chip Tooth Smile Tour this summer.
