2019 CMA Awards: Who’s Got the Most Nominations?
The Country Music Association's list of nominees for the 2019 CMA Awards finds plenty of country stars cleaning up with multiple nominations. In fact, a total of 20 artists, songwriters and producers received nods in more than one category.
Maren Morris leads the pack by a landslide, with a total of eight nominations to her name. The closest runners-up, Brothers Osborne, Chris Stapleton and Carrie Underwood -- the latter of whom is the only female contender in the category of Entertainer of the Year -- clock in with four nods, half of Morris' tally.
Dierks Bentley and Eric Church both weigh in with three nominations apiece, as does relative newcomer Luke Combs, capping a landmark year for the "Beer Never Broke My Heart" superstar. The 2019 CMA Awards are set for Nov. 13 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena; the ceremony will be broadcast live on ABC beginning at 8PM ET. Carrie Underwood is returning to co-host the event for the 12th consecutive year, with Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton as her guest co-hosts.
