When the 2017 Grammy Awards' trophies are handed out on Feb. 12, there are a few Americana, bluegrass, country and folk acts who could walk away big winners. Nearly a dozen artists in those genres received multiple nods ... so, who do you think will win big?
Maren Morris leads the country (and related genres) nominees at the 2017 Grammy Awards: The rising star earned four nominations, for the all-genre Best New Artist award, as well as for Best Country Album, Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance. But Keith Urban and singer-songwriter Lori McKenna aren't far behind; they each earned three noms.
Sturgill Simpson picked up Album of the Year (an all-genre category) and Best Country Album nominations, but he's not the only one with two nods: Brandy Clark, the Avett Brothers, Miranda Lambert, Robbie Fulks, Rhiannon Giddens, Sarah Jarosz and Hillary Scott & the Scott Family each earned two noms as well.
