The 2016 Big Barrel Country Music Festival, scheduled to take place in Dover, Del., in June, has been canceled.

A statement from Goldenvoice Entertainment, owners of the event, announces the news, but does not give a reason for the cancellation. Goldenvoice also operates, among others, Coachella and the Stagecoach Country Music Festival, both of which take place in Indio, Calif., as well as the Firefly Music Festival, which also occurs in Dover.

"We sincerely apologize to all the people this decision affects: the fans, artists, industry partners, venue, City of Dover and State of Delaware, all of whom welcomed us with open arms for our inaugural festival in 2015," the statement reads, in part.

According to the statement, tickets will be refunded beginning on Feb. 1.

Eric Church, Brad Paisley and Sam Hunt were scheduled to headline the 2016 Big Barrel Country Music Festival on June 24-26. Hank Williams Jr., Tyler Farr, the Eli Young BandMartina McBride, the Band Perry, Lee Brice and more were also in the lineup.

Church and Paisley each have another big country music festival on their 2016 calendars: Church will be headlining August's WE Fest, while Paisley is one of the headliners for June's Country Jam.
