Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and More Announced for 2015 ACM Party for a Cause
The Lone Star State is going to find itself with an influx of stars at the third annual ACM Party for a Cause -- country stars, that is. With a lineup featuring Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and more, Texas may as well be re-named the All-Star State for the weekend.
The 2015 ACM Party for a Cause lineup features country music legends and 2015 ACM Award nominees, including Clint Black, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Patty Loveless, Ronnie Milsap, Darius Rucker, Dwight Yoakam, Alabama, the Eli Young Band, Florida Georgia Line, Bentley, Lambert, Hunt and more to be announced in the coming weeks.
In celebration of the 50th ACM Awards, Party for a Cause is set to place April 17-18, 2015, at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas, with proceeds from ticket sales benefiting ACM Lifting Lives. And for fans who are unable to attend, there's good news: The event will be taped for a two-hour special, ACM Presents: Superstar Duets!, set to air on CBS on May 15.
"For the Academy’s milestone anniversary, we wanted more fans than ever to join us in our party, and we thought it was a perfect fit to combine the ACM Party for a Cause Festival and our annual CBS special into one historic event," Bob Romeo, CEO of the Academy of Country Music, says. "Fans and viewers can expect a night of surprises from an all-star lineup of performers who have graced our ACM Awards stage throughout the past 50 years.”
Party for a Cause will feature multiple stages, interactive experiences and, of course, lots of good food in a family-friendly country marketplace with food trucks and vendors from across the U.S.
Ticket packages for the third annual ACM Party for a Cause, as well as the 50th ACM Awards, are available. Tickets to the awards show actually sold out last spring, in just 18 minutes, but more seats were added as staging changes were finalized.
The 50th ACM Awards will be broadcast live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on April 19 at 8PM ET on CBS.
