For the first time since giving birth to her son Magnus in December, Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland is stepping into the spotlight. The singer will present an award at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards this Sunday (May 19).

Nettles joins an A-list group of country stars slated to perform or present. Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves and the Band Perry will perform during the ABC broadcast. Shania Twain, Florida Georgia Line, Kid Rock and Hayden Panettiere of the ABC show 'Nashville' join Nettles as presenters.

Swift, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean lead the country nominees. Swift is a finalist in 11 categories, including Top Artist, Top Female Artist and Top Billboard 200 Album for 'Red.' Bryan and Aldean have three nominations each, while Carrie Underwood and Hunter Hayes have two.

Nettles took a break from Sugarland after giving birth to Magnus on Dec. 6. In January, she announced that she and her family were moving from Atlanta to Nashville, and earlier this month, she shared the first photos of the five-month-old baby boy. "I've learned the finer points of how many ways to wear a ponytail," she says of the tolls of being a new mom.

The 2013 Billboard Music Awards will air at 8PM ET from the Las Vegas MGM Grand Garden Arena.
