Miranda Lambert was a winner before the CMA Awards even started, as she took home Music Video of the Year for 'The House That Built Me' in the pre-broadcast ceremony.

Miranda was actually nominated against herself in the category, as her 'White Liar' clip was also up for the trophy, along with Lady Antebellum for 'Need You Now,' 'Water' from Brad Paisley and 'Hillbilly Bone,' from her fiance', Blake Shelton. 'The House That Built Me' was also the winner of the Song of the Year trophy. The video was directed by Trey Fanjoy.

Earlier this year, Miranda said the video made some "obvious choices," even though she admits that can sometimes be "irritating." "This was one of those videos that needed to be really obvious. Trey found a house that looked a lot like the house I grew up in. There's no drama in the video. It just is what it is. It represents the song in such a great way."
