Tracy Lawrence was honored with the Independent Artist of the Year Award at the 2014 MusicRow Country Breakout Awards on Feb. 18 in Nashville.

The award is given to artists who earn the most airplay on the Country Breakout chart the year before. Lawrence had the most airplay for his two radio singles 'Stop, Drop and Roll' and 'Footprints on the Moon' off of his album 'Headlights, Taillights and Radios.'

“It’s very rewarding to receive this award from MusicRow,” Lawrence says in a press release. “I am so thankful for the team that we have created at LMG and so proud of the accomplishments we have been able to achieve as an independent artist and label.”

Lawrence is preparing to release the third single off the album, 'Lie,' and its accompanying video in March. He is currently on his Headlights, Taillights and Radios Tour through April.

“Performing live is a part of who I am,” he says. “Last year was an incredible feeling for me to release the new album ‘Headlights, Taillights and Radios,’ which had such great response. I am very excited to share this new music with the fans in concert.”
