Tracy Lawrence has announced the initial leg of a North American tour for 2014. The singer’s Headlights Taillights and Radios Tour 2014 kicks off Jan. 16 in Detroit Lakes, Minn.

The 28-date tour will visit cities in the South and Midwest before making its way out West for a series of dates in California, ultimately winding up in Texas in April.

Lawrence released an acclaimed new album, ‘Headlights, Taillights and Radios,’ in 2013. The project saw the iconic singer — whose past hits include ‘Time Marches On,’ ‘Find Out Who Your Friends Are’ and ‘Paint Me a Birmingham’ — embracing more contemporary production values, while remaining true to the core audience he has built over a career spanning more than two decades.

In addition to his classic hits, Lawrence will be performing selections from the new album.

“Performing live is a part of who I am,” he says. “Last year was an incredible feeling for me to release the new album ‘Headlights, Taillights and Radios,’ which had such great response. I am very excited to share this new music with the fans in concert.”

Additional dates are yet to be announced.
