Trace Adkins may be in rehab, but his mind is evidently still on his music.

The 52-year-old country star left the rehab facility where he is seeking treatment for an ongoing battle with alcohol this weekend -- but only to buy a guitar.

Adkins entered the facility after falling off the wagon during the recent Country Cruising musical cruise. He was the scheduled headliner on the cruise, which ran from Jan. 12-19. According to reports, the singer was involved in a confrontation with a Trace Adkins impersonator in the ship's bar after taking his first drink in a dozen years. The singer opted to cancel his appearance, and departed for rehab as soon as the ship docked in Jamaica.

He was photographed over the weekend at Chafin Musicenter in Lake Worth, Fla. The photo above was posted to the store's Facebook page on Saturday (Jan. 25). The store reported that he purchased a Martin acoustic.

Acoording to TMZ, Adkins paid $1,100 for the instrument. The gossip site also reports that employees of the rehab clinic escorted the singer on his trip.

There has been no official word as to how long Adkins is expected to remain in treatment.
